This virtual Town Hall will be moderated by Elliot Sloane, PhD, and will feature a presentation by JoAnn Klinedinst, Vice President of Professional Development at HIMSS.
The presentation objectives are:
- Describe the healthcare environment from a patient’s point of view.
- Recognize the components of the health IT function.
- Explore new professional development health IT resources; including training, continued education, and mentorship programs designed to hire and retain high quality people.
This webinar is the 11th in a series of virtual and highly interactive town hall meetings from the CE-IT Community.
The CE-IT Community is a collaboration among AAMI, ACCE, and HIMSS. Previous town halls have covered interoperability, medical device security, wireless issues, MDDS & IEC 80001, mHealth, connectivity with physiologic monitors, interoperability with the IHE profiles, collaboration case studies, and human factors.
